Mysore Palace
The Mysore Palace is the official seat and residence of the Maharajas of Mysore – the Wodeyars. Housing mesmerising gardens, courtyards, and buildings, the Mysore Palace is visited by a number of tourists for its historical significance and architectural beauty. Its architecture is a blend of Hindu, Muslim, Rajput and Gothic architectural styles. Although Mysore has about 7 palaces, Mysore Palace refers specifically to the one within the Old Fort. The Mysore Palace is known to attract around 3 million visitors annually.
